Website Mockup Design: The History of… Mafalda

The History of … Mafalda is a graphic design project featuring a five-panel website about the beloved Argentine cartoon character created by Quino. I designed a vibrant, scrollable layout that brings her iconic black-&-white illustrations to life with thoughtful use of color & a fresh perspective.

As part of this project, I also designed character pages for Susanita and Guille. If this were a functional website, clicking the "Explore Characters" button would lead to dedicated pages featuring detailed descriptions and fun facts about each character.​

The original artwork featured in this project was created by Joaquín Salvador Lavado Tejón, known as Quino. I do not claim ownership of these illustrations; my work is inspired by Quino's creations, & I have added color and design elements to present them in a new light. (Me sitting with Mafalda in Lima, Peru).
