Nuestras Almas

Nuestras Almas is a zine I created at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University that combines digital illustration with a poem I wrote. In response to today’s political climate surrounding Latinidad—particularly the recent Supreme Court ruling that permits racial profiling based on appearance or speech—I used this project as both reflection & release. Letting go of perfection, I worked freely & intuitively. Nuestras Almas explores resilience, vulnerability, & the power of embracing who we are in a world that challenges our right to exist.
